I can create a high quality final product. I showed this with my Pinhole Camera.
I built a high quality camera that functions really well, it takes great, clear pictures and I put a lot of effort into
it.The steps I took to achieve a high quality camera were... DESIGNING, DRAFTING, PRECISION, INSPECTIONS.
Design/Drafting
We took our time designing and brainstorming for our camera. We researched and watched countless videos of how exactly other people have created and constructed their own Pinhole Cameras.
Precision
We had very limited materials for this project so we had to be very careful with what we cut. We stood
by the rule "Measure twice, cut once." This ensured that we were cutting exactly what we needed, that all the sides would fit together like puzzle pieces and we wouldn't have to waste materials re-doing a side of the camera.
Inspections
After we hot glued the cardboard together we reinforced the walls with duct tape and then checked the box for any holes or spaces where light could creep in.
What does it mean to create a quality product ?
To me making a high quality product means putting extra time into your work and taking the right steps to make sure you end up with a strong, professional product.
Evidence #1
Evidence I have to show that I can create a high quality product is my photo. I think its pretty good quality thanks to my camera. As I said earlier since we added that inspection step we really were able to make sure that we had a perfect camera .
Evidence #2
My second piece of evidence that I can create a high quality product is my MagLev car. It may not go down the track but its strong. Professional looking, and it actually moves on the ground!
Strengths
Some strengths I had during this project were my leadership abilities. My group and I became really fast friends and without someone facilitating the work and telling people to keep working and what to work on, we would have goofed off the entire time.
Weaknesses
My weakness in this project was only focusing on the camera and photo. Since I was not only excited about making a working camera, I was also extremely stressed out because for a long time. For weeks all we did was make sure our camera was perfect and aking test photos. Which really left us behind in our other assignments.
