1: What was the inspiration for your machine? Does is serve a function?
2:What are you most proud of your design?
3: What challenges run into while creating your design?
4: What would you have done differently if you got to do this project again?
5: you had an infinite budget and infinite time I would you created you design differently?
I really wish I could have taken a picture of my machine but I was absent for a few days after my machine was finished and was unable to.
1: What was the inspiration for your machine? Does is serve a function?
- I like to think of myself as an artist. I knew from the beginning that I wanted to implement art into my design. The obvious element of art to be a part of my machines function was paint. My machine is basically a very complicated stamp. So I guess you could say it has a function (if you ever need my initials stamped on your paper).
2:What are you most proud of your design?
- I would say I'm pretty proud of my overall machine. I had originally wanted to make it in a large scale, but I thought it would be more useful if I made it on a smaller scale so I could transport it. which is why I had to make a tiny table and really tiny little levers and pulleys. By design I was really good craftsmanship and it is built very strong.
3: What challenges run into while creating your design?
- The only challenges I could say I had was cutting the box pieces and finding ways to stick them altogether. I had originally started using tape but I found that I was not only wasting a lot of it but it wasn't holding up very well and it wasn't strong enough. I decided to take my project home and use hot glue to put it together it was a lot stronger.
4: What would you have done differently if you got to do this project again?
- I would've taken more time on it and really solidified my ideas and made sure that every element of it would work.
5: you had an infinite budget and infinite time I would you created you design differently?
- I would've made it out of something really well I am plywood and have a used really quality materials. I probably would have painted it and made it look really professional and possibly have put it on wheels or something so I could move it easier.
I really wish I could have taken a picture of my machine but I was absent for a few days after my machine was finished and was unable to.
