1. Look over the attached document, "Week 1 - what we did and why we did it?" Out of everything we did this week, what did you find most interesting? Why?

I think that the Popsicle Stick Poetry was really cool. I've never heard of anything like that before and I thought it was a really interesting way for us to write/perform a poem. It was a really creative and fun experience, telling and listening to what each others homes felt, tasted and smelled like. Some people literally wrote what their homes feel, smell, taste like, etc. and other answers were really funny and creative like " Home looks like Wall Street". Meaning, its really crazy and hectic.
2. What advice do you have for Dr. P to help you excel in Humanities this year?
Well I think I could answer this question by just saying a few things about myself.
- I do not do well with structure. Having a structure makes me feel like how a claustrophobic person feels at Disneyland on a Saturday in Summer. It drives me nuts! I need room to be creative and express myself. Structures I find claustrophobic are mainly writing structures or structures for stuff like POLs (Presentations of Learning). But, if I feel like i'm being tied down at anytime of the year I will go ask my teacher if there is anyway I can loosen it up.
- I love to perform! I've been acting since the 3rd grade at Balboa Park, so anything involving scripts and performance is definitely something i'll be into. But I can already tell we will be doing that all year. :)
- I am very hands on and I love to build.
- I am kind of a control freak... I have a goal this year that I will share the air as much as possible. I think that if Dr.P could just watch out for that, and if he sees me being a little bossy just to let me know.
3. What do you want to get better at in Humanities this year?
I really want to find either an author or genre I enjoy reading. I've struggled with being motivated to read since I was a little kid. I don't know why I am like this but I would really like to work on my reading this year.
